Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) affirmed today that children in the Gaza Strip continue to live in dire conditions amid restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces on the entry of humanitarian aid.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the UN agency stated in a post published on Saturday on X that children in Gaza should feel warm, well-nourished, and safe enough to look to their future. The agency highlighted the urgent need for humanitarian assistance, which remains stalled outside the Gaza Strip due to Israeli-imposed restrictions.
UNRWA added that, like other relief organizations, it continues to operate and stands ready to scale up its assistance, underscoring the necessity of the immediate lifting of all restrictions on humanitarian aid.
