Amman: Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed today the need to commit to the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the implementation of all stages of the agreement to end the war. During a meeting with President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, King Abdullah emphasized the importance of ensuring the flow of relief aid to all areas of the Strip to help address the humanitarian situation.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the meeting also addressed the situation in the West Bank and Gaza. Both leaders highlighted the necessity of working towards comprehensive calm and rejecting settlement building, which violates international law and undermines peace prospects.
The President of Slovenia commended Jordan’s significant role in supporting Palestinians through humanitarian aid to Gaza and facilitating the delivery of aid from Slovenia via the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization. She also expressed her country’s support for the two-state solution and noted Jordan’s ongoing efforts to achieve peace.
