14 Palestinians detained by Israeli occupation forces in Hebron-area-town

HEBRON: At least 14 Palestinians were detained by Israeli occupation this morning in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Sources said that Israeli occupation forces conducted a large-scale raid in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, resulting in the detention of at least 14 people.

Israeli forces further raided several houses and tampered with their contents in the aftermath of the military incursion of the town.

Media activist Muhammad Awad said that occupation forces planted empty bombs inside some of the homes in the said town, causing partial damage. They also confiscated around 20 private vehicles and stole an amount of cash and gold jewelry.

In the meantime, the occupation forces also closed all entrances to the town with earth mounds, obstructing residents’ movement and causing traffic jam.
