Israeli Forces Set Up Military Checkpoint at Western Bethlehem Entrance

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint today at the entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem Governorate. A local source informed that the checkpoint was established in the 'Shouli' area on the main road leading to Battir, Nahalin, and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the checkpoint led to the stopping and searching of vehicles, along with ID checks for Palestinian citizens. This resulted in a severe traffic jam. The security measures have been intensified recently by the occupation forces, involving frequent closures, particularly impacting single population centers like the village of Husan.
