Hebron - Together - Doctors at Al-Ahli Hospital announced, this Monday morning, the death of the young man, Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Atrash, 20 years old, as a result of his critical injury after being exposed to live fire by occupation soldiers during their raid on the city of Halhul.
Medical sources added that 3 citizens were injured by bullets during confrontations with the occupation forces in Halhul. They were admitted to the departments of Al-Ahli Hospital to receive treatment, and their injuries ranged from moderate to serious.
Two people injured by live bullets were admitted to President Mahmoud Abbas Hospital in Halhul to receive treatment.
The confrontations broke out after an occupation army force stormed the city of Halhul and raided the home of former prisoner Muhammad Jawad Zamaara. He was arrested with his mother Mazouza and his father Jawad, to pressure their son, who was not present at home, to surrender himself to the occupation forces.
When the occupation forces withdrew from the city, confrontations broke out between young men and the occupation forces, during which five citizens were injured in addition to the martyr Al-Atrash.
Later, Mahmoud Jawad Zaamara surrendered himself to the occupation forces, and his mother and father were released.
