Israeli Forces Escalate Ceasefire Violations in Gaza with Ground Incursion

Gaza city: Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out a limited ground incursion, firing live ammunition and artillery shells in several areas, demolishing homes and residential buildings, and targeting tents of displaced persons and shelters.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation forces detonated a booby-trapped robot east of Gaza City, coinciding with the demolition of several homes in the eastern areas. Israeli artillery also shelled the area, and naval vessels opened machine-gun fire toward the city's coastline.

Occupation tanks also opened fire south of Khan Younis, while military vehicles conducted a limited incursion at dawn into the Atatra area in the northwest of the Gaza Strip. This incursion was accompanied by gunfire, bulldozing operations, and a siege of tents housing displaced persons in the area.

Since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, a total of 1,027 people have been killed, 3,280 injured, and 785 bodies recovered.
