Huge crowds mourn the body of the martyr Ali Alqam in Qalandia camp

Jerusalem – Together – On Monday evening, large crowds mourned the body of the young martyr Ali Alqam (32 years old) in Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Alqam was injured by a bullet in the heart fired at him by occupation soldiers during confrontations that followed the storming of the camp and the town of Kafr Aqab. He was subsequently transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, and his martyrdom was announced later.

The funeral procession set off from the Palestine Medical Complex to his birthplace in the camp, and the last farewell was given to him at his home. Then the mourners performed prayers over his body in the camp mosque, before he was buried in the Martyrs’ Cemetery.

During the funeral, eulogies were delivered, denouncing the occupation and its continued aggression against our people, which led to the death and injury of tens of thousands in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

With the martyrdom of the young man Alqam, the number of martyrs in the West Bank since the beginning of this year rises to 465, including 257 martyrs since the seventh of last October.

It is noteworthy that the confrontations in Qalandiya and Kafr Aqab camp resulted in the injury of 33 citizens, including 22 by live bullets, 4 by rubber-coated metal bullets, and 3 by beatings, in addition to two injuries by shrapnel from live bullets, and two injuries from suffocation by toxic tear gas, according to what Al-Hilal reported. Palestinian red.

A video clip showed the occupation soldiers taking a child as a human shield after he was shot in the foot by live bullets.

The occupation also destroyed a number of shops in the town of Kafr Aqab, and destroyed some of the products inside them.
