Jerusalem - Ma'an - The Jerusalemite boy, Muhammad Omar Ghanem Farroukh, 16 years old, was martyred by bullets from the occupation forces, under the pretext of "carrying out a stabbing attack" in front of the Salah al-Din Street police station in the city, which resulted in two injuries, one of them seriously.
The martyr is a high school student at Al-Rashidiya School in Jerusalem.
The occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Issawiya in the city of Jerusalem, as soon as they learned the identity of the martyr, raided his house and arrested his parents and brother.
At the place where the Jerusalem boy was shot, eyewitnesses explained that the occupation forces fired dozens of bullets at the boy Farroukh, even after he fell to the ground and was unable to move.
Dozens of forces surrounded the boy while he was on the ground, bleeding, while the soldiers were provided with treatment and first aid, “as eyewitnesses explained.”
The forces searched the boy’s bag, searched through the books, examined the bag, then placed the body in the bag and transferred it to a special car for transporting the deceased.
The occupation forces completely closed the area of Al-Rashid Street and Bab Al-Sahira, prevented access to them, and imposed a tight siege on the place.
The occupation forces stormed Al-Rashidiya School, arrested 3 of its students, and transferred them to the investigation center.
During the closure, which coincided with the time when the students were heading to their schools in Jerusalem, the forces prevented the students from passing through the closed streets, and also closed the roads in front of public buses carrying all the students.
The Minister of National Security in the occupation government and senior police officials attended the place of the boy’s martyrdom
The occupation forces closed Al-Rashid Street, “a few meters away from the police station,” with cement cubes to prevent the passage of vehicles, knowing that it is one of the main streets in the vicinity of the Old City.
