Colonists Seize Village Council Vehicle and Steal Olives Near Ramallah

Ramallah:Israeli colonists, with the support of Israeli occupation forces, seized a vehicle belonging to the village council of Ein Yabrud, located east of Ramallah. The incident occurred on Sunday, when the colonists also stole bags of olives and agricultural equipment from the vehicle.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that the colonists attacked Palestinian farmers during their olive harvest in the village. The farmers were confronted by the colonists who took control of the village council vehicle and its contents.

Following the attack, confrontations erupted between Palestinian residents and the colonists. During these clashes, Israeli occupation forces used tear gas canisters against the Palestinian citizens. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

This incident is part of a wider pattern of increasing colonist attacks across the occupied West Bank, particularly during the olive harvest season. These attacks frequently involve assaults on farmers, theft of olive crops and equipment, and damage to Palestinian property.
