Amman:General Supervisor of Official Media, Minister Ahmad Assaf, has initiated discussions with several Arab media leaders to explore ways of enhancing joint media cooperation. This effort aims to bolster support for the Palestinian cause and effectively communicate the challenges faced by the Palestinian people to a global audience.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA, Minister Assaf participated in the fourth edition of the Future of Media and Communication Forum in Amman, Jordan. During the event, he conducted bilateral meetings with Jordan's Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Al-Momani, Lebanon's Minister of Information Paul Morcos, Syria's Minister of Information Khaled Zaarour, and the Chairman of Egypt's National Media Authority, Ahmed El-Moslemany.
Minister Assaf provided updates to the Arab officials on the current situation in the occupied Palestinian Territory, highlighting the actions of Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip and the escalation of colonization and attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. He emphasized the need for the Palestinian cause to remain a priority in both Arab and international media coverage, ensuring that the global public is well-informed about the realities on the ground.
