Ramallah: Three Palestinian youths were injured on Saturday evening after Israeli colonists assaulted them on the road between the villages of al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, according to a local official.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Head of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council, Amin Abu Aliya, reported that the colonists attacked the three young men by physically beating them and using pepper spray, resulting in facial and eye injuries along with multiple bruises.
Abu Aliya further stated that prior to the assault, the colonists deliberately rammed the victims' vehicle with an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), causing damage to the car. He emphasized that Israeli colonists frequently carry out attacks against Palestinians traveling on the road linking al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, often involving physical assaults and pepper spray.
In response to the incident, local sources noted that Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Abu Falah, but no detentions or home raids were reported. Additionally, the forces conducted raids in the towns of Al-Mazra'a Ash Sharqiya and Silwad, as well as the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, without any reported detentions or home raids.
