London: British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said on Saturday that the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe in Palestine is unacceptable and cannot be justified.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Burnham highlighted his government's consideration of measures regarding Israeli colonies in the occupied West Bank, which are set to be reviewed and announced at an appropriate time. In his press statement, Burnham described the situation in the Gaza Strip as 'a scar on our collective conscience', emphasizing the urgent need to end the targeting of Palestinian civilians.
Burnham also called for increased international pressure, additional sanctions, and restrictions on arms exports to Israel, underscoring the importance of taking concrete actions to address the ongoing crisis.
