The Palestinian Society for Children’s Culture and Arts approves the administrative and financial reports

The General Authority of the Palestinian Society for Children’s Arts and Culture approved the administrative and financial report for the year 2022, during the meeting held in the Haifa Hall of the Palestinian Children’s Arts Center in Hebron, in the presence of Rami Al-Jaabari, Director of Public Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Khamis Al-Jaabari, a representative of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, and members. Administrative and general body.

The head of the administrative body of the Palestinian Society for Children’s Culture and Arts (Palestinian Children’s Arts Center), Nisreen Amr, welcomed the attendees and thanked the representatives of the Ministry of Interior and Culture.

She praised everyone’s role in the steadfastness of this pioneering institution in terms of working with children’s culture. She saluted all of the center’s volunteer staff and praised the executive management. She thanked all those responsible for implementing the association’s programs during the difficult period experienced by cultural institutions, and thanked the members of the administrative body for their perseverance in serving this institution. She thanked the partner institutions, ministries and friends of childhood, and thanked the Palestinian Ministry of Culture for the close cooperation. I congratulated everyone on starting the celebration of 30 years of giving since the founding of the association.

Muhammad Omran Al-Qawasmi, Vice President of the Administrative Board, praised everyone’s efforts and thanked every member of the Administrative Board for their continuous giving towards the success and steadfastness of the association, congratulating the association for this legendary steadfastness in light of weak funding.

Samih Abu Zakia, Executive Director of the Palestinian Society for Children’s Culture and Arts, welcomed the members of the administrative and general body and thanked them for their efforts to serve the children of Palestine in the cultural fields. He reviewed the administrative report, which included the programs, activities and projects that were implemented in the institution, and the effective cooperation with various national institutions. And cultural, and reviewed a group of important activities implemented by the association in the summer of 2022, including (Smart Leaders Project 2022), as well as projects and activities that were implemented at the beginning of the year 2023.

Nizar Bali, the association’s treasurer, read out the financial report, explaining to the general body the financial conditions of imports and expenditures and discussing all financial items. He thanked the association’s finance committee, which supervises the financial aspect of the Smart Leaders 2023 project and follows up on every small and large group in the financial aspect to enhance credibility.

The members of the General Authority confirmed their approval of the financial and administrative reports and affirmed their keenness to support the Association’s activities and programmes, stressing their support and support for all workers, including volunteers, participants and children, in all programs and events, and renewing their commitment to the Association and its programmes.

At the end of the meeting, Secretary Aida Abu Aisha announced the center’s new projects, including the Environmental Conference 2023, which comes as a continuation of the Smart Leaders project, as well as the continuation of the activities of the Young Media Program 2023, which is held in cooperation with the American Forest Foundation.
