Salfit – Ma’an – Today, Friday, settlers attacked farmer Adham Nassar and his family while they were picking olives on their lands in Derastia, west of Salfit.
Anti-settlement activist Nazmi Salman Lamaa reported that settlers attacked the farmer Nassar and his family while they were picking olives in the Musrara area, west of the town, and tried to expel them from their lands, but the farmer and his family confronted them.
Salman pointed out that the settlers’ attacks and the expulsion of farmers from their lands in the town of Derastiya come as part of a systematic campaign to keep citizens away from their land and thus expand their settlements at the expense of citizens’ property.
