OIC Strongly Condemns the Ongoing Attacks, Crimes Committed by Israeli Army in West Bank


Jeddah: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the attacks and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, especially in the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, which resulted in the killing of 12 people and the injury of dozens of citizens.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the ongoing onslaught also resulted in the destruction of roads and infrastructure and the erection of military checkpoints and iron gates to isolate Palestinian cities and villages, considering this violation as an extension of the war crimes committed against the Palestinian people.



The organization also warned in a statement of the seriousness of the daily crimes committed by the colonists, under the protection of the Israeli army, the latest of which was their attack on several villages, and setting fire to property, homes, vehicles, and agricultural lands.



It also held the occupation authorities directly responsible for the repercussions of colonist’s crimes and attacks that require accountability according to international criminal law.



The OIC renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities and put an end to these ongoing crimes throughout the Palestinian territories and provide protection for the Palestinian people.
