Elderly Palestinian Man Injured by Israeli Forces’ Live Ammunition in Jenin Refugee Camp


Jenin: An elderly Palestinian man was injured by Israeli forces’ live ammunition during their ongoing onslaught on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, PRCS said that a 50-year-old man sustained injury after being shot by Israeli forces with live ammunition in the thigh and was transferred to the hospital for treatment.



The occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the third consecutive day, claiming the lives of 12 Palestinians so far after the killing of two young men in the town of Burqin, west of the city, amidst massive destruction to the infrastructure and Palestinian properties.



On Thursday morning, Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian residents who were identified as Qutaiba Shalabi, 30, and Muhammad Nazzal, 25, from the town of Qabatiya, after a siege on a house they were in in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin.



The initial death toll since the onset of the aggression has surged to 12, with nearly 40 others injured.
