Tubas: Israeli occupation forces withdrew on Saturday from the town of Tamoun, southeast of Tubas, after seven days of aggression and tight siege. The mayor of Tamoun, Najeh Bani Odeh, reported that the occupation forces withdrew completely from inside the town and its surroundings, as citizens began to leave and inspect the town and their properties.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Odeh added that the local residents who were forced to flee their homes at the beginning of the raid, returned to their homes. He pointed out that the occupation army left a widespread destruction in the citizens’ properties and homes that were used as military points.
He affirmed that the massive destruction was revealed in the infrastructure, as a result of bulldozing the streets and cutting the water lines. Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue their raid and siege of the Far’a camp, where they have forced more than ten families to flee their homes since this morning. Snipers were deployed heavily inside the camp.
