Israeli Airstrike in Gaza City Results in High Civilian Casualties

Gaza City: Dozens of civilians were killed and injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house in Gaza City.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that the occupation forces targeted a house in the city’s Sabra neighborhood, resulting in numerous casualties, including several children.

The assault marks the resumption of aggression by the occupation forces on the Gaza Strip at dawn yesterday, Tuesday, following a hiatus of more than two months. This renewed violence has led to the deaths of over 400 citizens, predominantly women and children, with hundreds more suffering injuries.

The escalation in the Gaza Strip has raised concerns about the potential worsening of the already dire humanitarian situation. The region continues to suffer under an ongoing blockade, with critical shortages of medical and humanitarian supplies exacerbating the plight of the civilian population.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have intensified their operations in the Gaza Strip, causing the deaths of more than 48,572 citizens, most of whom were children and women, and injuring 112,032 others. Numerous victims remain trapped under the rubble, highlighting the urgent need for humanitarian intervention.
