North Korea accuses America of involvement in “heinous war crimes in Gaza.”

Gaza - Together - North Korea confirmed that although America talked about preventing escalation of the situation in the Gaza Strip, its real intention was to sponsor and support the “reckless” Israeli military attack on the Strip.

This came in a statement in English issued by the North Korean Jurists Committee, according to the Korean Yonhap News Agency.

The committee also accused America of involvement in "heinous war crimes that lead to the massacre of innocent Arabs" by providing military support to Israel in its ongoing war against the Palestinian Hamas movement.

The statement also criticized Washington for being at the "height of double standards" and demanded that it be "submitted to the International Criminal Court and expelled from the United Nations Human Rights Council."

North Korea's ambassador to the United Nations, Kim Song, denied reports claiming that Pyongyang was supplying the Palestinian Hamas movement with weapons, describing them as "baseless rumours," accusing Washington of seeking to shift the blame for the ongoing war in the Middle East to a third country.

North Korea also objected to Washington's use of its veto power against a resolution in the United Nations Security Council, calling for allowing humanitarian aid to reach Gaza last week, as America opposed this measure, noting that the draft failed to mention "Israel's right to defend... self".

The escalation between the Palestinian Hamas movement and the Israeli forces continues after Hamas launched, at dawn on Saturday, October 7, the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, in which thousands of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel, and its forces stormed Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip, and captured A large number of Israeli military and civilians. Israel responded with Operation Iron Swords and launched an unprecedented violent bombardment on the Gaza Strip, leaving thousands of victims and injured, most of them children and women.
