Jerusalem:Qatar Qatar has expressed strong disapproval of Colombia's decision to open an embassy in Jerusalem, which it considers occupied territory. The move is seen as a breach of international law and pertinent resolutions, specifically citing UN Security Council Resolution 478 from 1980.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reiterating its stance against any actions that could change the legal and historical status of Jerusalem.
