Nablus:Israeli colonists reportedly stole a Palestinian farmer's tractor and olive harvest in the al-Masoudiya area of Burqa village, northwest of Nablus. This incident was reported by a local source on Thursday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Dhiab Hajji, head of the al-Masoudiya Land Defense Committee, confirmed the theft of the tractor and olive harvest belonging to a farmer from the village.
Violence by colonists against Palestinians and their properties is a recurring issue in the West Bank and is infrequently prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Such violence includes arson attacks on property and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and assaults on vulnerable homes.
Currently, approximately 1 million Israeli colonists reside in colonies within the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is considered a violation of international law.
