Salfit:Israeli occupation forces detained a farmer, Shawkat Salima, from the city of Salfit on Tuesday as he was harvesting olives on his agricultural land.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the forces compelled other farmers to vacate their lands in the northern part of the city and used tear gas canisters to prevent them from continuing with the olive harvest.
In a related incident, colonists in the town of Yasuf, east of Salfit, stole olives from the "Al-Nasba" area. These events are part of a series of escalating attacks on farmers during the olive harvesting season.
