Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, concluded the week at 12,698.19 points on Friday, marking a decrease of 0.23% from the previous day.
According to Anadolu Agency, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index commenced the day at 12,802.98 points but experienced a decline of 28.87 points from Thursday's closing figures. The index fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a low of 12,601.60 and a high of 12,825.01.
The BIST 100's market value was approximately 12.4 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $279.5 billion, with a trading volume recorded at 112 billion liras, or $2.52 billion. In terms of stock performance, 32 stocks saw an increase, while 65 experienced a decline compared to the previous close.
In other market indicators, gold was priced at $4,530 per ounce, and Brent crude futures were trading at $111.4 per barrel as of 6.50 pm local time (1550GMT). The exchange rates at the time showed the US dollar at 44.4595 liras, the euro at 51.3085 liras, and the British pound trading for 59.2100 liras.
