Qalandia: A Palestinian man was injured by live fire from Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening at the Qalandiya military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews treated a 28-year-old man who was shot in the foot with live ammunition at the checkpoint.
The injured individual was subsequently transferred to a hospital for medical treatment following the incident. The Qalandia checkpoint is known for being a frequently tense location, often witnessing confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli forces.
