Palestinian killed by a missile in Jericho

JERICHO: A Palestinian was Tuesday evening killed by a missile that fell in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, according to the Civil Defense.

It said in a press statement that a 38-year-old Palestinian died due to a missile that fell in the city while pointing that it put off several fires that broke out in Hebron Governorate and took a set of preventive measures to dispose of some projectiles and shrapnel that fell in the West Bank governorates of Jenin, Qalqiliya, Tubas and Hebron.

This came shortly after Iran launched a wave of ballistic missiles towards Jaffa and other locations in Israel.

Tehran said the missiles were fired in response to the killings by Israel of the Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, the Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander in Lebanon, Abbas Nilforoushan.
