Az-Zawiya:A Palestinian was injured in an attack by Israeli colonists in Az-Zawiya town, west of Salfit, while picking olives.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, local sources reported that the colonists pepper-sprayed the victim, causing him to suffocate.
Violence by colonists against Palestinians and their properties is a common occurrence in the West Bank, with incidents often going unprosecuted by Israeli authorities. Such violence includes arson of properties and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting crops and olive trees, and attacking homes.
Currently, around 1 million Israeli colonists reside in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, with their presence deemed illegal under international law.
