Al-walaja: Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday issued stop-work notices for 15 homes in the village of Al-Walaja, which is located northwest of Bethlehem. The actions took place as part of a broader pattern of enforcement in the area, with the occupation forces targeting developments deemed unauthorized under current regulations.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Khader al-A'raj, head of the village council, reported that the forces stormed the village, particularly focusing on the Khallet al-Samak area in the northern part. Here, they delivered orders to cease construction on 15 homes, citing the lack of building permits as the reason for the intervention.
Al-A'raj further noted that earlier on the same day, the occupation forces had demolished two caravans used for agricultural purposes and a concrete wall in the Al-Sarj area. These structures belonged to Hakam al-Salawdi, a resident of the village, emphasizing the ongoing challenges and disruptions faced by the local community due to these enforcement actions.
