Jordan’s King Urges Global Rejection of Israel’s UNRWA Ban.

AMMAN: Jordan's King Abdullah II has called upon the international community to oppose Israel's recent decision to prohibit the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The appeal was made during a meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis at the Al-Husseiniya Palace in Amman. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the King emphasized the necessity of increasing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. He advocated for ensuring the delivery and distribution of aid through all available channels to mitigate the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The Jordanian monarch highlighted the critical need to halt the Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon, identifying it as a crucial measure to prevent further regional conflict. The King also reiterated his commitment to establishing a political framework for achieving a just and comprehensive peace, anchored in the two-state solution. He expressed appreciation for Estonia's support i n efforts to end the conflict in Gaza and work towards regional peace, as reported by the news agency.
