Gaza: Electric generator, oxygen, and water network in Kamal Adwan Hospital are out of service due to Israeli’s ongoing shelling. Medical sources reported on Saturday that the electric generator, oxygen network, and water network in Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip were disabled due to the ongoing Israeli shelling, since yesterday afternoon until midnight.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Israeli fighter jets directly targeted the entrance to the reception department, the emergency department, the yards, the electricity generators, and the hospital gates several times, resulting in 12 injuries. Among the injured were a doctor, a nurse, and an administrator who were inside the reception and emergency department at the time of the attacks.
Currently, the hospital is treating 86 injured individuals, eight of whom are in intensive care on artificial respirators. Additionally, 13 children are receiving treatment in the children’s department of the hospital. The sources al
so reported cases of malnutrition among children arriving at the hospital.
