Bethlehem:Israeli forces have closed all military gates at the entrances to villages in the western countryside of Bethlehem, limiting the movement of Palestinians and vehicles.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency , the closures occurred on Saturday, with Israeli forces preventing residents, including pedestrians, from passing through. This action has disrupted movement between the villages and Bethlehem city and its surrounding areas.
Additionally, Israeli forces conducted a raid in the Karm al-Saraawi hamlet within the Khalayel al-Louz area, where they seized a surveillance camera recording device.
In other incidents, Israeli forces also raided the town of Tuqu' and the towns of Dar Salah, al-Shawawra, and Za'tara, located east of Bethlehem, patrolling the streets. There have been no reports of arrests.
Furthermore, data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission indicates that 942 checkpoints, closure points, and other obstacles exist across the West Bank. These include 824 fixed checkpoints and closure points, as well as 118 linear barriers made up of earth berms, trenches, and roadblocks. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports that these barriers extend approximately 107.7 kilometers in total length.
