Al-Mughayyir:Ramallah Israeli occupation forces mistreated citizens on Sunday evening at the entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, located northeast of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA – English, Amin Abu Alia, head of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council, reported that the forces set up a military checkpoint at the village's western entrance. Citizens, including women and the elderly, experienced mistreatment, and their vehicles were damaged while passing through the checkpoint. However, no direct physical injuries were reported.
Abu Alia highlighted that the occupation forces continued to obstruct residents' movement at the village entrance. Earlier in the day, the closure of this entrance entirely disrupted school operations, as teachers from outside the village could not reach their schools.
Currently, the village's western entrance remains the only accessible entry point. The eastern entrance has been closed since 2023, a period marked by intensified attacks by occupation forces and settlers against the village.
