Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces issued demolition notices for dozens of residential and commercial structures during ongoing raids against the towns of al-Ram and Kafr Aqab, as well as the Qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli troops delivered demolition notices to dozens of shop and residential property owners, citing the reason that they were built without a construction permit. The demolition notices are part of a broader campaign by Israeli forces targeting these areas.
The Governorate further noted that Israeli forces have continued to raid residential buildings in the Qalandiya camp, forcibly evicting residents and converting the buildings into military outposts. These actions are taking place amidst ongoing incursions into the camp north of occupied Jerusalem, including the home of the slain Palestinian Samir Aslan, where troops reportedly damaged and ransacked the contents.
