Gaza: Israeli forces obstructed on Monday the movement of Palestinians south of Qalqilya. Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the southern entrance to Qalqilya, near the Habla tunnel, stopping Palestinian vehicles and checking IDs, causing significant delays and disrupting movement in the area. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the checkpoint created a bottleneck as Israeli forces meticulously checked identification documents of all passing vehicles. The obstruction resulted in long queues and considerable inconvenience for those trying to enter or leave the area. Residents expressed concerns over the recurring checkpoints, which significantly affect daily life and access to essential services. The checkpoint near the Habla tunnel is particularly problematic due to its strategic location, further intensifying the impact on local movement and trade activities.
