Hebron:Israeli forces detained two brothers on Saturday while they were harvesting olives on their land in the Khillet Umayra area, east of Yatta. In addition, several vehicles and agricultural tractors were seized in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, activist Osama Makhamreh reported that brothers Munther and Nadhir Mohammad al-Adra were detained during their olive-picking activities. Furthermore, Rateb al-Jabour, coordinator of the Popular Committees Against the Wall and Settlements, stated that the forces chased tractor drivers and vehicle owners, compelling them to unload livestock feed before confiscating their tractors and vehicles.
In a related incident, Israeli forces raided the home of Thaer Jawad Sultan early Saturday and delivered a military order requisitioning his house for several hours. This house is located near a newly established settlement outpost, built on Palestinian-owned land next to al-Rayyan Mosque on Jabal al-Rahma.
