Al-dhahiriya: Israeli occupation forces detained an elderly Palestinian and his son on Friday in the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of the West Bank city of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the occupation forces detained elderly Bajis Abu Shurakh and his son Ahmad in Al-Dhahiriya. The incident adds to the ongoing tensions in the region.
In a related development, Israeli colonists reportedly cut barbed wire surrounding residents' sheep pens in the Al-Tayaran neighborhood of the town. This act has further escalated concerns among the local population about the security of their properties.
Additionally, Israeli forces raided the livestock market in Wadi Al-Samen, located south of Hebron city. During the raid, they checked the identification of merchants, farmers, and visitors. The forces also seized a sheep from the market, adding to the series of actions conducted by the forces in the area.
