Israeli Forces Detain 30 Palestinians from the West Bank

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 30 Palestinians from the West Bank, including children and former prisoners, in a wide-scale campaign that began yesterday evening and continued until Thursday morning. The detentions spanned across the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Nablus, Ramallah, Salfit, and Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that the detentions are part of ongoing military operations in these areas. Meanwhile, the occupation forces have intensified their aggression in the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarm over the past weeks. This includes systematic detentions and field investigations affecting numerous families. Citizens have been detained as hostages, and homes have been converted into military outposts, accompanied by deliberate destruction of infrastructure.

The occupation forces’ strategy of systematic detentions and field investigations represents a prominent fixed policy that has escalated significantly. This escalation is evident not only in the increased number of detainees but also in the severity of actions undertaken by the occupation following previous conflicts.
