Israeli Forces Detain 22 Palestinians from West Bank

Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 22 Palestinians from the West Bank, including a female citizen and former prisoners, from yesterday evening until Thursday morning. These detentions were carried out across several governorates, specifically Hebron, Nablus, Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, a joint statement by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society highlighted the widespread nature of the detention operations. The statement emphasized that the Israeli forces are conducting field investigations in various towns, which are accompanied by abuse, attacks, threats against citizens, and acts of vandalism and destruction within citizens’ homes.

The detention campaigns and field investigations are described as systematic policies used by the occupation forces. These operations are considered central tools in the policy of collective punishment, targeting Palestinian citizens as part of broader occupation strategies.
