Israeli Forces Demolish Two Homes in Birin Village, East of Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces today demolished two inhabited homes in Birin village, east of Hebron. Birin Village Council head Farid Barqan reported that the demolition occurred after Israeli forces entered the village with bulldozers and targeted two homes located in Khallat al-Furn and Jurat al-Kammun areas. The homes belonged to residents Wail Ghaith and Hamza al-Zein, with Ghaith's home measuring 100 square meters and al-Zein's home measuring 80 square meters.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli authorities have executed 80 demolition operations in July alone, impacting 165 structures. These demolitions included 80 inhabited homes, eight uninhabited homes, 63 agricultural structures, and 11 sources of livelihood. The demolitions were notably concentrated in several governorates, with Qalqilya seeing 34 structures targeted, Hebron 26, Ramallah and al-Bireh 22, and Bethlehem 16 among others.
