al-Walaja:Israeli occupation forces demolished an inhabited home on Tuesday in the village of al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem. The demolition took place in the Ein Al-Juwaiza neighborhood and was carried out under the pretext that the home lacked an Israeli-issued building permit.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the house belonged to Arafat Salim Abu Rizq and was a two-story structure, each floor measuring 120 square meters. The forces reportedly prevented the family from removing their belongings before the demolition.
The village of al-Walaja, particularly the Ein Al-Juwaiza area, has seen an increase in home demolitions, with several houses receiving demolition notices in recent times.
