al-Mughayyir:Several Palestinians experienced suffocation from tear gas fired by Israeli forces as locals confronted an attack by Israeli colonists in the village of al-Mughayyir, located east of Ramallah. The incident occurred on Sunday morning.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the confrontation began when colonists raided the eastern plain of the village and released their livestock onto land owned by Palestinians. This prompted local residents to react, leading to the intervention of Israeli forces, who then fired tear gas at the crowd.
In addition, Israeli forces detained several students from the village while they were on their way to school. Earlier that morning, soldiers had raided several Palestinian homes, though no detentions were reported at that time.
Separately, Israeli military bulldozers leveled numerous dunams of land in the Shaab al-Louz area west of al-Mughayyir. This land was primarily planted with olive trees.
