HEBRON: Israeli occupation soldiers closed the entrance to the home of Imad Abu Shamsiya, a Palestinian citizen, in the Tel Rumaida neighborhood, located in the heart of Hebron in the southern West Bank, using barbed wire. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Abu Shamsiya reported that the occupation forces barred his family from using the main entrance to their home, in what appears to be an effort to pressure them to leave and facilitate the takeover of their property for the benefit of Israeli colonists. He also noted that several colonists from the nearby Ramat Yishai outpost, which occupies Palestinian land and property in Tel Rumaida, have been harassing and threatening his family, using offensive language while heavily armed.
