Israeli Colonists Raid Rashaydeh Village in Bethlehem, Fire Live Ammunition Near Homes

Bethlehem: Israeli colonists raided the village of Rashaydeh, located to the east of Bethlehem, causing panic and fear among the local population. The incident involved the firing of live ammunition near residential areas.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the Rashaydeh village council, Bakr Rashaydeh, reported that a group of colonists stormed the eastern part of the village. The colonists' actions have not only alarmed the residents but have also disrupted the daily lives of those in the community.

Bakr Rashaydeh further explained that the attacks by the colonists have been escalating, particularly targeting local shepherds by obstructing their access to grazing lands and stealing livestock. This poses a significant threat to the villagers, as livestock farming is the primary livelihood for the people of Rashaydeh. The village's agricultural sector comprises approximately 29,000 sheep and cattle, along with 700 camels, underscoring the gravity of these attacks on the community's economic stability.
