Israeli Colonists Attack Palestinian Shepherd in Masafer Yatta

Masafer Yatta: A Palestinian shepherd was injured today after being violently attacked by Israeli colonists in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Osama Makhamra, a local activist, reported that the colonists assaulted the shepherd, identified as Awad Ibrahim Awad, causing him multiple bruises, wounds, and fractures. He was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

Makhamra reported that the attack occurred near the al-Tuba hamlet in Masafer Yatta, where the colonists targeted a group of shepherds, beating them and forcing them to leave the grazing lands under threat of further violence.

This assault is part of a series of ongoing and systematic attacks carried out by Israeli colonists against Palestinian citizens and their property. Such actions are aimed at forcibly displacing the local population to make way for further settlement expansion in the region.
