Israeli Colonists Attack Palestinian Farmers and Properties Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli colonists on Monday evening attacked Palestinian farmers in Beit Fajjar town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem. The attack involved assaulting several farmers, hurling stones, and releasing dogs on them as they tended to their lands in the Wadi Abu Seif area, resulting in bruises and fractures.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the casualties, all members of the Taqatqa family, were rushed to a local clinic for treatment. In addition to the assaults, the assailants also set fire to the vehicle of another Taqatqa family member.

In a related incident, colonists set a Palestinian-licensed vehicle on fire and vandalized other vehicles in Yabrud village, east of Ramallah. They smashed the windows of a villager's house and attempted to set it on fire.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli colonists have carried out 7,154 attacks against Palestinian civilians and property in the occupied West Bank. These attacks have resulted in the deaths of 34 civilians and the displacement of 33 Bedouin communities, comprising 455 families and a total of 2,853 people, as per the statistics of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
