Nablus: An incident occurred in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, where a Palestinian farmer was assaulted by Israeli colonists while harvesting olives on Sunday morning.
According to the Palestine News and Information Agency €š¬‚¬Å“ WAFA, the farmer was attacked by a group of colonists in the Mahfuriya area, who beat him and took his harvested olives and farming equipment.
Palestinian farmers are encountering increased challenges this olive harvest season, as attacks by Israeli colonists have escalated. These attacks, often occurring under the protection of Israeli forces, have jeopardized significant portions of the harvest and hindered farmers' safe access to their land.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission noted that last month, there were 2,051 attacks against Palestinians and their property, including 1,404 by Israeli forces and 647 by colonists.
