Israeli Colonists Attack Civilians in Masafer Yatta, Damage Mobile Phones

Hebron: Israeli colonists on Thursday attacked Palestinian civilians in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and smashed several of their mobile phones, according to local sources. Media activist Osama Makhamereh reported that a group of colonists assaulted members of the Al-Qudra family while they were on their land in the Al-Ali area. During the assault, five mobile phones were broken, and the family was threatened with gunfire.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists also released their sheep onto the residents' land, which led to damage to the crops. Masafer Yatta, comprising nearly 19 Palestinian hamlets south of Hebron, has experienced a notable rise in such attacks by Israeli colonists in recent years. These incidents have included assaults on residents, destruction of property, and damage to agricultural land. These actions occur amid ongoing efforts to forcibly displace Palestinian communities from the area.
