Salfit: Israeli bulldozers began Monday morning leveling large swaths of agricultural land and uprooting olive trees in the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit. In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces detained two young men, Iyad Haroun Yassin and Abdul Jawad Muhammad Bani Nimra, during a military raid on the city of Salfit. The forces reportedly stormed and ransacked their homes before detaining them, adding to the tension in the region.
