Israeli Bulldozers Level Agricultural Land and Uproot Olive Trees Near Salfit

Salfit: Israeli bulldozers began Monday morning leveling large swaths of agricultural land and uprooting olive trees in the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit. Local sources reported that the operations were focused in the Al-Masrara area, west of the town, affecting land cultivated with olive trees owned by local residents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the actions have caused significant disruption to the livelihoods of the local farmers who depend on these lands for their olive production. The bulldozing has raised concerns among the residents about the long-term impact on their agricultural activities and economic stability.

In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces detained two young men, Iyad Haroun Yassin and Abdul Jawad Muhammad Bani Nimra, during a military raid on the city of Salfit. The forces reportedly stormed and ransacked their homes before detaining them, adding to the tension in the region.
