Israel Demolishes Shops in Bani Naim and Detains Two Brothers in Al-Dhahiriya

Hebron:Today, the Israeli occupation forces demolished commercial stores under construction in the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, and detained two brothers from the town of Al-Dhahiriya, located south of the governorate.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the occupation forces stormed the Khallet Al-Warda area at the entrance to the town of Bani Naim and bulldozed the shops belonging to the Abu Sharkh family, citing the pretext of construction in Area C.

In a related context, local sources reported to WAFA that colonists, protected by the occupation forces, attacked the two brothers, Diya and Alaa Abu Sharkh, while they were herding sheep in the 'Maala Al-Deir' area of Al-Dhahiriya. The occupation forces subsequently detained the brothers and transported them to the 'Khavat Yehuda' settlement, which is established on citizens' lands near the area.

These incidents occur amid ongoing occupation aggression against areas in Hebron since last Friday, resulting in 488 families being affected and approximately 3,171 citizens being forcibly displaced, particularly in the areas of Deir Baha and Al-Jalda, as reported by Hebron Municipality data.
