Gaza city: Medical sources at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City said on Thursday that the hospital's main generator, which powers the facility, had stopped operating due to a shortage of oil and spare parts.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the generator shutdown forced the suspension of the hospital's imaging department, including the only CT scanner in northern Gaza. Medical services have been reduced, and several surgeries postponed as a result.
The hospital faces a risk of collapse and urgently requires assistance to maintain the delivery of essential medical services, the sources stated.
