Ramallah - Ma'an - The Fatah Movement's Central Committee held a meeting this Sunday evening, at the movement's mobilization and organization headquarters in the city of Ramallah.
The members of the Central Committee discussed the ongoing aggression against our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, stressing the necessity of a comprehensive and permanent halt to this aggression, which targets the entire Palestinian component.
The centrality of "Fatah" emphasized the Palestinian position demanding an end to the barbaric aggression in all its forms, whether in the beloved Gaza Strip, which is subjected to hideous massacres by the Israeli killing machine, or in the West Bank, which is subjected to continuous invasions during which hundreds of our people have died, in addition to the settlers' terrorism and crimes. Which are carried out under the protection of the occupation army, and the attacks against our sanctities and our people in East Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Palestine.
The Central Committee touched on the Arab and international diplomatic movement undertaken by President Mahmoud Abbas to stop the Israeli aggression, and the necessity of providing relief aid to our people inside the Strip, and preventing the displacement of any Palestinian citizen, whether in Gaza or the West Bank, stressing that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory. “We will not allow a single inch of its land to be cut off, no matter the sacrifices,” and called on the international community to recognize the independent Palestinian state, which received a response from the countries of the world, especially European countries.
She stressed the need to unite the Palestinian ranks under the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization, in the face of the dangers threatening our national cause, to stop this barbaric war being waged against our people and our land, stressing that military and security solutions will not provide security and stability for anyone, noting that the entire world has come to recognize that these solutions It has proven its failure, and that going for a political solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative is the only option to achieve security, peace and stability, not only in our region but in the entire world.
The Central Committee paused at length before the heinous crimes that our heroic prisoners have been subjected to in the occupation prisons since the beginning of the sinful aggression against our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip, accompanied by daily invasions by the Israeli occupation forces of cities, camps, towns and villages in the West Bank, considering that the liberation of any Palestinian prisoner is considered... A gain by liberating all prisoners and whitewashing prisons.
The Central Committee of the "Fatah" movement warned the occupying state against continuing its retaliatory aggression against the prisoners, which led to the martyrdom of six of our heroic prisoners so far, and the wounding of hundreds of them with fractures and severe wounds without any medical care being provided to them, in addition to the process of starvation to which they are subjected, and the confiscation of their belongings. And their clothes and covers, in a way that puts their lives in danger.
The Central Committee denounced this heinous crime, warning the Israeli occupation state against continuing this brutal aggression against prisoners, which contravenes international laws.
She stressed that the Fatah movement and all the active forces in Palestine will confront this criminal policy if the occupying state does not stop its continued attacks against our brave prisoners.
